In order to get the best flavours out of traditional chai, it should be prepared using traditional methods!
In a saucepan, pour 2 cups of milk (cow, soya or almond), 2 cups of water, 3 or 4 soup spoons of chai and sugar to taste (at least 2 or 3 soup spoons).
Bring to a simmer over medium heat (watch out for overflowing!), then close the heat and let rest for about 10 minutes. Filter and serve. Can be made ahead and refrigerated.
